Adrian Villareal plans on finding out what the boys are interested in learning about and helping them explore various STEM topics. I know that the students will bring a lot to the program everyday and help make me a better person in the future.
Project Exploration (PE) is dedicated to building high-quality STEM Education Programs through effective and collaborative partnerships. We are pleased to start a new partnership with the Woods Educational Enrichment Foundation (WEEF). With a similar vision WEEF aims to eliminate the barriers placed on career opportunities for minorities in the STEM fields.
The girls of Sisters4Science at Woodson recently participated in the WOW!, which is Citizens Schools’ end of the semester event in which the girls show friends and family all of the amazing things they’ve learned during their apprenticeships!
The girls got a chance to be civil engineers for a couple days and see for themselves the work that it takes!
